How to vote in Trumbull County.

Whoever you support, vote. Here's everything you need, official sources only.

1. Check your registration

Confirm you're registered, and your current address, at VoteOhio.gov, the Ohio Secretary of State's official voter portal. Registration deadlines run about 30 days before the election, so check early.

2. Vote early or by mail, if you'd rather

Ohio offers in-person early voting and absentee voting by mail in the weeks before Election Day. The exact dates and hours are set by the Secretary of State, find them at VoteOhio.gov or through the Trumbull County Board of Elections.

3. Or vote on Election Day

Tuesday, November 3, 2026. Polls in Ohio are open 6:30 AM to 7:30 PM. Find your polling place at VoteOhio.gov. Bring a photo ID. Ohio requires one for in-person voting.

What's on your ballot

Among the races on every Trumbull County ballot: County Commissioner. Michael J. Hovis, Gulf War veteran, retired Bazetta police chief, business owner, and two-term township trustee, is on that ballot. Here's his record, and here's where he stands.
